I am compiling reference information for an inexpensive electronic
field guide on the topic of birds that breed in North America
(hopefully other topics will soon follow).  This field guide, called
the Peck bird reference library, is thoroughly described in the "The
Paper Pile" at http://www.eduneer.com/peck/index.html, including
the "instructions for submitting recordings" which addresses
questions such as royalty schedule, permission to use agreement, copy
protection, and file format.

Presently the '50 most wanted' recordings for the field guide are as
follows (the first 25 are less common species, the second 25 are more
common species):
