If you are concerned about needing another converted .wav version
down the road, you can save the pre-conversion "oma" files made
within the Soundstage ap folder. These oma files can be converted to
.wav docs over and over, anytime. Its during the initial, himd disc
-> pc platform via sonic stage transfer that the "count" is made. V
2.1 allows you to do this twice. There are other ways mentioned too
on the HiMD forum. I save my oma format files for HiMD-SP recordings
particularly because they are so small. Love being able to record
for 7 hours on a $7 disc. Rob D.
