Please don't fear XP... For so long Windows had to be all things for all
hardware and that is a tough job. A fresh build on a modern hardware syste=
m
and you should be very happy. I use Cool Edit and an older version of
Wavelab for recording and editing. Mac was all that but fell and let Window=
s
systems and applications catch up in the photo/publishing/video/audio race.
