That's a large drag and this is a bit late, David, but always send
your equipment via a legit carrier like FedEx or DHL. They tend to
hand carry everything thru customs and it does get
delivered...usually within 72 hours anywhere on the globe. And the
cost is not significantly greater than USPS who tends to not care all
that much.
I don't have a Telinga set-up. But if you alternatively record M-S,
contact me directly and I may be able to help for a short period as
bird song is starting here, as well.
