It would be interesting to try out the snap together dish, but I expect 
the mic system used is pretty noisy.

As a note the white dish shown at the bottom of that page was from the 
same company as the pm60. Bought as a bare dish, made up with a Sony 
lavalier mic, I used this for several years before moving to the Telinga.

The best commercial parabolic for nature recording is the Telinga.

I use a Telinga Pro 6 with the DATStereo mic element. I also have the 
dual science element, put strongly prefer stereo.
