This file is about 1:47 seconds recorded in Queensland with various birds
and frogs in a thunderstorm, the father-in-law and I did this although he
recorded most of this, it goes on for at least 1 hour but I thought you
might want to hear a segment. I love the sound of the Aussie Bush!! Not the
American one (get my meaning!!!)

Sounds like quite a guy, a real inspiration.

Any chance of getting one of his cd's? We could post some of the cuts. The
thought of going to sleep to the sounds of the night  is intriguing.

Yep, the air is a bit thin but most people acclimate rather quickly. Doug
Von Gausig lives just over the mountain from me and about 2000 feet lower in
elevation, it gets noticeably warmer there in the summer.
