Howdy, Any sound ID help would be appreciated... http://www.caculo.com/sounds.htm ( http://www.caculo.com/MP3/unkgrebeorsnipe.mp3 ) So far, I've received evenly divided votes are for: --pied-billed grebe --coot --moorhen --don't know --Sounds like our guinea pig when she wants lettuce. i think it sounds like a snipe. Other birds in the clip include: C. Yellowthroat, Swamp Sparrow, Sedge Wren, Am. Bittern Recorded in spring at a sedge meadowy area in Central Wisconsin, early morning. cheers, John Feith Madison Bird Song Ear Training Guide CD http://www.caculo.com/birdsongs.htm ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
