Stick w/ the combo, Martyn. The 418S is way too noisy for the kinds 
of amplitude dynamics nature recordists are generally working 
with...particularly the Side channel. In addition, with the 
windscreen, it's far bulkier than the 30/40 or 60/30 combos others 
are using. Takes up LOTS of space in a backpack.
