Ok, I just tried it and yes, at maximum that might be all
the gain I'd ever need. Not too easy to adjust on the fly
though. Also not too sure I like the quality of what I'm
getting. It seems a bit unnatural sounding with a sort
of 'hollowness' and/or an unnatural 'sharpness' once I
get sighted in on the subject. I guess the dish is going
to peak the high end. I think I'm going to add some
adhesive plastic to the face of the dish, like that stuff
you can apply to cupboard shelves.
