Hi, There is quite a discussion on another list (BIRDWG01 =96 the Frontiers of = ID list) about differentiating the eastern and western ssp of Willet by vocalization. I am only familiar with the western critter. Anybody got comparison vocalizations? I put up a western call from my class CD on my ftp site ftp://owlnut.rr.ualberta.ca/pub/barb/sounds/WinterWren.mp3 but do not know how it compares to the eastern nor differences in other vocalizations.
