here in india, many of the small birds use a highpitched and quite loud chirp (but longer than a chirp would be)as an alarm call. it is so species unspecific that it has hard to tell which bird has called. you hear it most often if you are close to a bulbul nest, or there is a prowling cat nearby. i will try and record some and post them one day. i now have a telinga reflector, thanks to eric benjamin! umashankar =09 =09=09 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
