It is good to hear that it worked so well with bats. And yes we can crank u=
p
the frequency range, but this will require using a new DSP. If it looks as
if most of the bat researchers and serious bat enthusiasts will want one,
then we can certainly design a model just for bats and other ultrasonic
sounds.

Well, well, Lang, when Bill Rainey, the venerable bat man, cranked up
your Songfinder on an old bridge along a creek in Lee Vining Canyon
(just E. of Yosemite) this past Saturday evening, the 3-D world of
bats (Myotis, in particular) came alive. It's really impressive and
congrats to you and whomever is on your tech team with this one.
Everyone in the group I was leading was blown away.

One question: The device has a current range of only about 40kHz. Any
plans on increasing that? If so, definitely count me in for a unit or
two.
