Wild! Could the squeaks be vocalizations of some sort-- or leg scrapes?
Actually, it doesn't seem bad on excessive resonance in the low and 
mids as piezo recordings go. The high end is definitely kicked-up for 
a piezo. Are you just driving it direct into the mic pre? Rob D.
