Hi everyone!
Since many of us seem to be interested in hydrophones, I wanted to
update everyone on my search.
I decided to cancel my order for the dolphin ear hydrophone since it
just looks too much like the type of contact mic I would make myself
from radio shack and the reports I have had havent been stellar!
I have been researching, and it seems like Bruel and Kjaer is the
standard for these, so I have emailed some places and asked for
prices-I am bracing myself for a shocking amount, but maybe I could
find one used.
Anyone want to chime in with some advice or thoughts?
I think its better to get a higher quality hydrophone which costs a
bit more and which will last a bit longer.
