This type of file is for Microsoft media player. To play it with
media player you also have to have XP operating system as it does not
work with win98.
I like the fact that it is a free surround format but don't care for
media player much. I opened the file with Adobe Audition which also
supports 5.1 .wma files. To do that you go to the multitrack window
and open as a wave file and choose the .wma option. Then set the
channel outputs by hand.
I don't know what supports .wma in Apples.
Sounds great and is a similar concept to that I am editing this
morning. That being the stream with songbirds within.
Thanks for the file example.
