Rich;

The car is on its last legs but still runs OK although it is dying of Ohio
road cancer.

The lights have me concerned. Guess it is a master cylinder going out and
it controls the break lights. Weird.

It is running rough right now too, but it is getting better gas mileage than
it ever has, so I'm in no hurry to fix that. To top it off my mechanic is
dropping subtle hints whenever I take it in that he doesn't want to see the
car again. But I like to run them until I have to shoot them and put them
out of their misery.

In the last 2 months. I've been to Washington DC, Florida, and Wisconsin in
the beast.

Hope some money was won by anyone who bet on it making it.

So in essence the higher tones would be masked or hidden by the louder lower
tone. A;though some damage may be done to it, the basic tonal quality and
loudness will still be there when the unwanted lower (louder) tone is
treated. The only drawback will be that the decibel level is reducer by the
removal of the unwanted tone.

Is that correct.

Again thanks.

Eric
