I second your welcome to Scott on the list!  I have been very
happy that he has become interested in nature recording.  I very
much enjoy his companionship and engineering/technical
expertise on my recording adventures.  He has far more
technical savy than I do and now I am not reduced to as many
frustrated tantrums in the field when I encounter difficulties.  (I
am totally into the animals and birds but clumsy with the gear.)
It's also a lot more fun to have a companion, though at times you
can hear an occasional squabble, or giggle, in the recordings.  I
don't think I am going to miss those long, lonely, drives, by
myself, to serve my passion for nature recording.
