Hi Martyn;
The best place on Maui is on the slopes of the National park  of the volcan=
o Halleakala and Poli Springs State Park was even better. There were also s=
ome great endemic species in a few places. Sorry I haven't been to the big =
island so can't give you a definitive answer. I'm sure you will find a lot =
of intriduced speies though, just like Maui.
