Any Tascam user out there who can help with this one? Tascam DA-P1 DAT recorder. Won't switch on with the internal battery. Connect to the mains electricity charger/transformer, and it switches on normally and will then run on the internal battery. Battery shows normal voltage with a multimeter, and if operating as above shows 2 of the 3 battery charge symbols. Local electonics service chap has had it since before Easter, and I haven't heard from him, so I fear he's having difficulty. If anyone has experienced this problem and knows the cause, I'd be most grateful for advice. TIA Syd Curtis in Brisbane, Australia. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
