Can anyone offer an opinion on how loud the song of either Baird's or Grasshopper Sparrows might be? I am trying to help a lab mate decide what kind of speakers she needs to purchase for some research involving pre-timed song playback in the field. Her systems will be hooked up to solar panels, which she has already picked out, but if anyone has suggestions for waterproof speakers that would help also. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
