Trouble is Bernie, you have taught so many others too, I have always
respected yours and Lang's work and has been an inspiration to me and my
little contribution, I have all your CD's and have the book too, they are a
great source of reference and a model for every novice out there. Well done
:)

Subject: [Nature Recordists] Wild Soundscapes announcement
Greetings friends,
Just got word from our publisher that they've sold out of the first
run of my new book/CD, "Wild Soundscapes: Discovering the Voice of
the Natural World" (Wilderness Press)...all 7500 copies...and they're
going to a second printing early next week.
For those of you who have supported this effort, I am grateful and
happy to have been of some help. It's a difficult subject, at best,
and there are many flaws in the ointment. I've probably learned as
much about field work from being part of this terrific group (that's
mostly Doug VG's fault) than from all the previous 35 years or so
that preceeded the book and I'm honored to be part of it.
Warmest regards to all,
Bernie Krause

Thanks for the kind words, Martyn and Lang. They're well-taken and
I'm grateful for your support.
