does anyone know anything about USB microphones, I've got one and it seems=

really excellent to use on any old laptop, for recording wav.
there's actually noise cancellation and a normal 1.5 v phantom power going =
to
an electret capsule. I wonder if the noise cancellation is in the electret=

capsule or the integrated circuit, and what mods can be made to these excel=
lent
microphones, it was about the same as a normal microphone from ebuyer.com.
theoretically USB is even better than line input whilst keeping a digital
preamp.

Can someone suggests some links for a kit of the best possible electret
capsules for various uses and dynamic ranges and pick up types to make
interchangeable mic heads for it. I was wondering what the best possible ca=
psules in
existence are for home use.

Cheers
