Sorry for this doubly off-subject post; please delete before reading:

1. Nancy and I will be in the White Mountains Friday through Sunday, at
Highland Hut, the new AMC lodge. No recordings, just snow.
2. I have spent the last three months writing a new book (> 250 photos) to
identify grasses, sedges and rushes. No recordings, no audio
work. Interested?
See: http://www.enjoybirds.com/HomePublishing/PubHome.htm#gram

It has been too cold in NH for most of that time to record anything except
rocks cracking, q.v.
I have been reading everything, though, and amazed at it all. Thanks to
all. It seems Walt still averages over 1000 words per day. ;^)

my best regards to all youse,

Marty Michener
