If you are ever interested in recording some natural
radio yourself, check out this link:

Although The Inspire Project was started for high
school students, it has members around the world who
record and report on natural radio--specifically, on
VLF emissions.  You can order a receiver from them. 
They also have several coordinated "observing" events
each year.
