If you want to go for a relatively inexpensive but extremely versatile
minidisk, I can not speak more highly than the sharp md-dr7. And as Marty
said, try to stay away from the AT mics although I do have an AT7041A
shotgun that will run a lot of the Sennheiser for their money. The fact tha=
t
you live in Columbia though would sway me to buying and sticking with the
Sennheiser mics purely because of the humidity, Sennheiser mics will
tolerate more of the humid conditions than any other mics I know. Keep your
eye on E-Bay for the right mics to come along.
