It will also do Lion battery pacs. About all it does not have is the new 
pulse fast charge, so is not the ultimate fastest charger. I do find I 
sometimes have to get creative in hooking up odd pacs to it. It would 
not be hard to make up a charge cable for anything used steady.

One big advantage is that it has a discharge cycle that meters how much 
the battery was holding. Good for verifying the condition of a battery, 
seeing if it's still holding the same charge, or how bad off it is.
