It uses a wall wart essientially. If maha does not sell it with a 
240ac->12vdc wall wart option, I'm sure a local electronics/power 
supply shop has the item.  Ham radio and radio control (RC) folks are 
the big consumers of this gear, start with where they shop. The maha 
charge is faster and seems more reliable than that of the internal 
deck chargers which is a perk after the fix.  Rob D.
