I was ahead of you, did my email and off to bed.

It was a long day, discovered that there is rot in one of the main
beams supporting the celestry windows and roof over our living room. A
simple reroofing project just got a whole lot more complicated. Got to
replace that beam. Rotted because they did not ventilate the roof
properly around it. I knew the ventilation was not right, and planned to
fix that, had hoped everything was ok inside. I already knew some of the
roof deck would have to be replaced, they did not flash the celestry
right. Ran the flashing under the roofing so down below the celestry the
roof deck was sagging a little. Luckily we just took roofing off there,
so tarps can keep things ok while we fix the beam.

Got to remove all the paneling on the inside side today for another
look, see how much we will have to prop up.

The joys of owning your own home.

Walt
