I am new to this. I have a borrowed Sennheiser ME66 with the K6 power module. Because of the group activity I am seriously considering a Sharp MD-DR7. My questions is what is a suggested preamp between the mic and MD??? .or do I need one. I purchased an adapter to get from XLR to 1/8" but it has a built in impedance transformer. It works but will I be matching impedances properly. So .. I guess my question really is - If I have the Sennheiser and the DR7 - what else do I need????
