Likely the Snowy Tree Cricket,
Arthropoda, Insecta, Orthoptera, Gryllidae, Oecanthinae, Oecantha niveus,
also called the temperature cricket - If you count the calls in 15 seconds=

and add 40 you have the exact temperature in degrees Fahrenheit.  Of course=

it is the temp WHERE THE CRICKET IS, not necessarily where YOU are.  There=

are actually dozens of species in this family, but O. niveus is quite
widespread across the northern states, and certainly has lacy wings.
