My web site (<http://www.naturesongs.com/whatsthat.html>Naturesongs.com)
has a section where people can ask me about sounds they have heard and are=

curious to know what's making that sound. Frequently it is one of several
"usual suspects" (Barn Owl tops the list, Red Fox and Cicada run close
behind), but occasionally I just can't dredge up what the sound might be.

So I've decided to post those queries to this esteemed group and see what
you say, I'll then send the answer to the person who asked and credit the
recordist who knew the answer. If you know one, it is very helpful to point=

us to a source where the person can hear an example of the sound.

The posts will always be titled "What's That Sound? - xxxx" - sound like fu=
n?
