Hi Doug,

Congratulations on this anniversary !
I must admit that reading messages from the Nature Recordists list has
become an addiction for me, as I would think it has become for many
members. I'm learning so much through it !

If I could express one wish for the future, it would be to see more
exchange of "material" (recordings) through it. Perhaps that could be
emphasized in the future.

But I'd like to say, once again, how fortunate I feel to be on the
receiving side of such a valuable source of information.

Today is the Nature Recordists 3rd anniversary. We now have 539 members
and
we have posted 10,384 messages. In these three years we have all learned
a
lot about recording gear, techniques, sound in general, mosquitoes, and
each other. We've all been exposed to lots of new ideas and ways of
doing
what we do.

I am proud to be associated with all of you, and I want to thank you all

for making this list work so well for so long!

Happy anniversary!
