I've considered the bug shirt also. In the cooler climates that I've recorded in I have a camo sweatshirt with a patch of mosquito netting sewn into the hood than I can pull forward and drop down over my face and neck. I zip it up, wear light gloves, and I'm covered without repellant. Perhaps the bug shirt will be more comfortable than the sweatshirt in hotter humid habitats.
