Ok, here is a small quiz for you all.
During our travels around Arizona, we stumbled on this property.
This is an area I find, totally irresistible. The environment is not
really desert but bloody warm, although I must admit, when we got there
it was around 95f and overcast. The heat is a dry one compared to
anywhere else I have been to in the USA. Outside this place is a ruin
from an old Indian settlement, I forget the name of it but it sounds
like an Ebonics sounding "twogoats"
This place we went to, backed on to the Verde River, the house nearby
supplied a canoe although it was very hard to carry it down to the river
and we had to leave it there because of the gradient.
There was a hot tub outside this house for our use, very nice!
For our convenience too, there was a white Ford Ranger truck to drive to
the local shop, although we used the phone to order a Pizza instead. In
the fridge was plenty of beer and in the office there was various sound
recording equipment!
I must say, the hospitality was exceptional without the Hosts being
there.
Complaint!
* I have found out where all the Hummingbirds in America go to and
it appears that this residence has a captive market!
* Also the drive up to the place needs tarmac on the road; I found
it a wear on our car so we used the supplied Ranger instead.
I find this a totally irresistible place to visit, but make sure the
locals are in before hand.
Pictures and info are found at this site. Please advice as to its
whereabouts!
