Hi all, Do anyone of you use SoundMan OKM microphones for ambience recordings in th= e field? If yes, what do you think about their self noise? Do they produce so much self noise that the recording gets too bad and noisy? I did some recordings with them, I'm pretty happy about their stereo image but i'm not sure if their self noise gets too strong in relation to singing birds. I don't have much experience in mic's self noise and that's why I ask you. I just compared the soundman mic's self noise to the sennheiser me67 one and, a big difference. If no one here this mic, I will ask Doug to put one of my recordings on the binary files page. thanks and happy birding!
