I'm impressed Dan, I'm also convinced it's a squirrel now, I know the
little buggers are very vocal and that's why I thought it maybe a
squirrel but it was the trill at the end of certain calls that through
me, all the recordings I heard were great and I thank you for putting
this to rest for me. I'm looking forward to going up to Yuba Pass in
June with the nature sound society even if it's to find new places to go
and record, I'm going to enjoy it to the hilt!! Your going to be there
Dan aren't you? I'll recognize you with the Velcro Shoulders!!!

Here's a long-winded squirrel that sounds like the same species. He
goes on scolding me for almost three minutes (4MB):
