Probably, your browser helper applications aren't set correctly for playbac=

of mp3 soundfiles.

I can think of two things you might try. One is to download a new Quicktime
Player and then install it. As part of the install you get a prompt asking
you if you want Quicktime to handle various files. Make sure you say "yes"
to quicktime handling mp3's. That might do it.

If you're on a PC, you might want to download and install the newest Window=
s
Media Player. When you install the player, it will probably automatically
set your browser to send mp3 files to the Media player.

If you're familiar with browser settings, you can go into Preferences and
find the section dealing with helper applications. You scroll down until yo=
u
see the .mp3 suffix and then you can check what applications are supposed t=
o
be handling the files. This procedure is difficult to describe in detail. I
could tell you how to do it for Explorer in a Mac environment, but I'm sure
it 's a little different for Explorer in a PC.
