Here's the link to Sound Devices' official web page for the recently announced 744T (four channel, time code) and 722 (stereo) hard disc recorders.=20 http://www.sounddevices.com/products/7.htm The web site provides new details: support for MS stereo matrix; highest sampling rate is 24/96; in addition to WAV and BWF formats, MP3 encoding is available up to 256Kbps when you need to save disc space; for belt-and-suspenders recordists, simultaneous mirroring of data stream to internal disc and to the CompactFlash Type 2 slot; 10 seconds record buffer at stereo 24/96; and lots more.
