Hello,
I've been lurking to the list for some time being a musician with the
serious interest in the area of field recordings and nature sounds.

The project I'm currently working on will need the recordings of
vocalization of several cetaceans species, namely Phocoena phocoena (common
porpoise), Delphinus delphis (common dolphin), Tursiops truncatus
(bottle-nosed dolphin), Orcinus orca (killer whale) Hyperoodon ampullatus
(bottle-nosed whale). Most of all I'm interested in any recordings made in
the Northern and Baltic Sea area, or Northern Atlantic, however any
recordings of the vocalization of the species mentioned above are important
to me. I just thought this forum would be the best place to ask if anyone o=
f
you has ever recorded these animals and has some samples available.

Thanks to some advice coined to me at CetaceanAcoustics group I have alread=
y
done some reserach on where to ask for such samples as far as the
institutions are concerned (from CIBRA to Tierstimmenarchiv of Humboldt
University to British Library Sound Archiv to Cetacean Research), what I'm
looking for is direct contact to the recordists and/or copyright holders
themselves. Please contact me off list at or
, any cue will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

All the best
