Dear Naturerecordists, I have following two unrelated questions for your kind response. 1. Bit perfect transfer and Roland UA30: I am using Roland UA30 for transferring my recordings (done using Sony TCD-D100 recoder at 44.1khtz sampling rate). I use 44.1 khtz settings in UA30 and my pc.I want to know whether the transfer will be bit perfect. If not, will there be noticeable degradation of quality? 2. Normal Life of Sony-TCD-D100 head? How can one monitor the condition of head? What can be done to increase the life of head? Thanks Pratap Singh ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
