Hi All,
I'm getting increasingly interested in sound recording (especially bird song)
and
have been reading this list since mid-May. However, although I've gotten Cool
Edit
2000 and used it a bit, I have yet to purchase any recording equipment. A
note on
the list yesterday about buying MD recorders on ebay sparked a thought.
Might anyone here on the list have some used equipment they want to sell?
Perhaps
some gear that you're no longer using that would be appropriate for a beginner?
I'd
be looking for an MD recorder (like the Sony MZ_R50), and a parabolic or
shotgun mic
that would work well with a MD recorder.
I'd like to get started, but don't want to make large outlays until I know more
about what I'm doing (and getting into.)
