The Nomad recorder does have a 1394/firewire jack on it, but it apparently= won't appear as a mountable volume for file transfer on Pc or Mac desktops.= =20 You have to use their proprietary software (Pc only) for file transfer. It= does do 16 bit 48 k linear WAV recording, and can record up to the 20 gB capacity of the disc as a single sound file! At 16/48, that's about a thirt= y hour stereo file. It claims 98 dB sNr. Also a nice trend: it has dual battery bays! ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
