Hi Mammal auser's I am doing planning to do some small mammal trapping in Royal National Park, Sydney in August for my PhD research and I am wondering whether anyone on this list lives nearby and would like to volunteer some time and effort to help. Specifically, I am targeting the eastern pygmy-possum population there in heathland and forested communities using pitfall trapping, Elliott trapping, and nest-boxes. The schedule is for Thursday 4th August to Tuesday 9th, and again from 12th-16th August. I can probably arrange accomodation for volunteers in the Park as well. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks Jamie 02 4221 5289 Yahoo!
