Took the family to Benalla over the weekend to check glider nest boxes with
the Regent Honeyeater Project. Our team checked about 20 boxes, and found
four boxes with Squirrel gliders, one box with Sugar gliders and a single
(yellow footed?) antechinus. Highlight on the birding was a pair of
grey-crowned
babbler. Also spotlighted along a roadside but only managed ringtail and
brushtail possums,
There is another weekend on 16-17 April.
