Greetings. This unconfirmed eBird report is of interest:
Bush Stone-curlew (Burhinus grallarius) (Exotic: Naturalized) (1)

- Namadgi National Park--Booroomba Rocks, track and carpark, Australian Capital Territory
- Map:

- Checklist:

- Comments: "On a log, off the trail. Quick ground bird. Skinny chicken. Black and white . Apparently, these are being released into the park -- according to visitor centre"
While I imagine that the evidence presented by ‘Anonymous eBirder’ may not be very convincing to our fine eBird Reviewer, can anyone enlarge on the statement that the Stone-curlews are being released in Namadgi NP?
Best wishes – David
