Birding is a little boring in my GBS precinct - not a lot of birds and rather predictable.
But today, a reportable event. A Straw-necked Ibis flew over chased by four King Parrots. This was a chase, not an accidental colocation. I watched them for several hundred metres.
I cannot imagine what the purpose was, or what might have induced the chase, but there it was.
As they say: go figure!
