Yes, I am in the same situation as Mark and Lia. Not just that, but my currently used one (Leica) is in need of a maintenance.

I also have several pairs of old binoculars (need to find where they are “hidden”) but these also need some work. This situation is probably similar with most people having old
and slightly damaged binoculars. My wife showed me a pair yesterday that I didn’t even know I had and no idea where I got them!!

I have an old pair but they need repairs. I would not consider giving something in that condition.
