This morning I watched our regular adult male Magpie as he tackled a few bits of kitten kibble that I’d put out on the slatted picnic table . A bit got stuck in a crack between the slats. He then went under the table, stared intently up at the underside, then made a huge leap, grabbed the bit of kibble from underneath and ate it on the ground. Hope he’s ready to start school this week .. Libby
