This afternoon I saw one Superb Lyrebird in the Rainforest Gully below the St Mark's Outdoor Chapel between Blackall St and Bowen Drive.

It's also been seen near the NFF building on Brisbane Av.

It's been there for quite a while, possibly since February 2024.

The only thing that seemed to upset it was the lunchtime piper.

Despite Andrew Barr and Chris Steel's best efforts, it truly is the bush capital.
