My husband thinks he just heard a fantail cuckoo in lower Higgins. We live near the Brazel Street Higgins Woodland. It only called twice. Last week, the lads also heard a GST calling for a few days. No photos. They are very cryptic. This
is on top of the varied sitellas and the red-browed finches that have also been visiting us in this location, as well as the fuscous honeyeaters at Cantor Crescent Woodland last weekend. Pretty exciting.
